The two major communities in the village, Rajadi and Sanada are hardcore enemies of each other for more than five hundred years. There are enough magical scenes, to make you feel you have to watch it a second time to soak it all in.The story takes place in a fictitious village called Raanjhar in Gujarat. It is impossible to watch this film impassively. It is a lovely mixture of the familiar and the fresh. The story has been told a hundred times, and we all know how it ends, and how the characters will play out, yet it keeps you spellbound for most part.
